Active Retirement

Welcome to the Active Retirement webpage.

We are members of Active Retirement Ireland.
We cater for ages of 55 upwards.
We welcome retired and semi-retired prople.

We would love to welcome new members, contact any member of our Active Retirement on Mondays and Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9pm, or on Fridays at 2.30pm to 4pm in our community hall.

Actvities

Our activites include pickleball and bowls, all played indoors in our community hall. We break during play for tea.

Pickleball is played every Monday & Thursday at 7.30pm to 9pm.

Bowls is played every Friday afternoon at 2.30pm to 4pm

Community Involvement

Our Active Retirlement group are involved in many aspects of the community. One such involvement is we have Santy arrive in the village for our wonderful children, where we have Christmas music playing, give out goodie bags to all the children and cast the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Party

Each year we have our Christmas party, which is a great success and a day out which everyone enjoys.

Outings

Our previous outing have included Farmleigh in the Phoenix Park and the Guinness Museum.
